COMICS REVIEW: Supermarket #2

Title: Supermarket
Issue: 2
Writer: Brian Wood
Artist: Kristian
Publisher: IDW

Story: Wood continues to weave a tale of strong characterization, deeper themes and commentary, fabulous backdrops, and excellent pacing.

Art: Kristian's art is the perfect compliment to Woods story, a cocktail of swanky style, color, and detail. The colors and tones here really take the impressive linework to a high level. Love it!

Overall: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I just picked up DEMO last weekend at APE and find myslef loving the book so far. Cloonan is a real great artist, and Brian Wood writes some good stuff. So I think I'll check out Supermarket on your recommendation.

And Sufferin' Sucatash! That cover for issue #2 looks absolutely bee-yoo-ti-ful! The design and color are exquisite, man!

By the way, I finally updated my blog....check it out, Mister Buster!

It's funny you say that, as much as I liked the cover, I think I like the interior arts even better!
It's fab!

"By the way, I finally updated my blog....check it out, Mister Buster!"

It's tops on my list!!

Anywho, if you like Demo, you won't be dissapointed with SuperMarket (or likely Local, or heck any o Wood's fine pubs, I LOVVVVVEEEE Channel Zero! The man is aces)
